The stories of the seats is from a collection of fact sheets on the seats in the Waite Historic Precinct that includes: the Waite Arboretum, Urrbrae House Gardens, the Garden of Discovery and the Twentieth Century Rose Garden. The seats have been donated to the Precinct by Waite campus staff members, by recreational visitors to the Arboretum and by friends and supporters of the Arboretum. Many of the seats are to the memory of scientists, researchers, Waite campus staff and of recreational visitors to the Precinct. Each seat has a nameplate. In 2016 FWA member and volunteer Terry Langham developed 72 fact sheets from the collection of seats. The two or four page fact sheets contain images of the seats, the nameplates on the seats, the features of the nearby tree species and where possible a history of the person/s whose names appear on the seats's nameplates. For example:
WOOLHOUSE Leonie M and Harold W
GARDNER Dr Jennifer G and Douglas
CHAMBERS Jess, Dennis and daughters
KELLY Robert and Mary, and Josephine
